Sound

Ky fell asleep while doing his breathing treatment (asthma)

All tuckered out...

I just love this kid! Take a look at his hand....

My kids have a thing with stuffed animals, check out the drool pile!

Isn't it amazing what sound can do to ones soul? Music can get you going, depending on what kind it is- pump you up or make you cry, laughter can only make one laugh and hearing children around USUALLY puts a smile on people's face. I just have to say how much I love SOUND! I love to hear my children's cute, sweet little voices that melt my soul, but at the same time I wish they didn't have a voice box so I didn't have to listen to them whine or cry or be silly saying goo goo and gaa gaa (seriously, what's up with 5 year olds trying to be 1 again?) So as much as I love hearing things, I also love to hear absolutely NOTHING!!!! My most favorite time of the night is when my children are sleeping. I have started a little thing every night (I used to a long time ago but gave up cause I just plain forgot) where I sneak in and look at the little sweeties while they sleep. Sometimes they are literally hanging half way off the bed, sometimes Ky guy's bumb is up in the air, kicked covers off or just the way we put them. I just love it. Especially when it's been a day when I can't wait to get them to bed cause they've driven me crazy, it makes me realize how sweet and innocent they really are and they just want to have fun in life and they don't care about the silly things adults do. I try to remind myself that every once in a while, to chill out, hang with the kiddos and relax! The house doesn't have to be spotless and the dishes don't have to be done. Just enjoy those sweet hearts cause they don't stay small/young forever and their sweet voices change so quickly, just enjoy THEIR SOUNDS!!!
If you don't, I urge every parent to look at their children nightly and you're worries will melt away (well maybe for a moment) and you'll be much happier with them the next morning!
